An 8 MPH model can be used on the pavement but only at the 4mph speed.
Agreed there are a couple in my home town who think that because they are
disabled then the pavement is their own private race track on the 8mph
scooters. I have a 4mph model which I always slow when with pedestrians.
Concerning the link earlier Wanderer I did not click it as I was only
explaining what was in May. I did have an 8 mph model once but sold it
within a week, felt very unsafe at top speed! I actually use the one I have
to do trips of 10 - 14 miles in total on nice days. Meet all sorts and have
many a chat plus not burning fossil fuels so the Gov can shut up.
