Thanks a lot for the information. The Part A of Medicare covers
hospital only. It is my understanding that emergency room is not
covered in Part A, though emergency rooms are usually located in
hospitals. If a person has Part A only, but no other coverage, and
he goes to the emergency room, Part A will not start to cover until
he is hospitalized. In other words, he has to pay the emergency
himself.

My great appreciation for verification of my understanding.
