Is most of your health problems mental or is there other health problems
that you do have, &
I dont doubt that you are very ill but my thinking is so many are so
well deserved to have SSD and many still go with out.. I know of people
who waited for 6 yrs this is a person who was in a wheel chair. and had
bad health issues going could not walk and they made them wait i that
wheelchair for 6 yrs..
being locked in a wheel chair can drive you to madness alone and then
have to wait upon the GOV to act on your behalf..
unreal

Gina and M - I think (and I'm totally guessing here) the main reason I
was approved without question was a long medical history of my issues.
As references I used my GP, who I've been seeing forever and who has a
list of all the meds I've ever been on; my ex-husband, whom I've been
divorced from for several years but who (not so) fondly remembers how
messed-up I was; plus a shrink who once hospitalized me for self-injury.
I think it also helped that I've had about 20 jobs in the past 4 years.
Stu - thanks for the advice. I'm calling LIHEAP to get my electric bill
taken care of first thing Monday. Thankfully my meds are being taken
care of by a local program for now.
Rip: There's literally NO Section 8 housing in my area. My best bet
is subsidized housing I think. And you forgot to add "sell your plasma"
to your list :)
