Why didn't you pay off your loan by now? Were you just sitting around

Yup. You can NOT get out of paying student loans.

Isn't this kinda late in the game to be asking for help? You give 36
hours.....
My guess would be to simply tell them you don't have it and ask what
they can/will do about it. You'd be surprised by how reasonable some of
theses unreasonable govt employees can be. Give it a try! Good luck, you'll
need it.
