When I applied, I had three qualifying auxilaries and was still
married.

One child was 15 and was by my first wife. 2 kids (age 4 and 6) were
by the second wife, whom I divorced before being approved but after I
applied. All three kids eached received 1/3 for around 15 months and
then it went down to each kid getting 1/4. It was easy to spot that
they had added another auxilary. So I called them and they had my ex
listed as one. It turns out the idiot went in and applied for her OWN
benefits (since she didnt understand the program AT ALL and wanted
more money). She makes about $45K a year. Well, they said she applied
about a year after we split up. I said she makes too much. They said
too bad. They wouldnt take her off "in case she lost her job" or
something. So the amount for the kids was decreased. This obvously
also totally pissed off wife #1 (which I didnt mind all that
much..haha). So now the numbskull is remarried and they need to take
her off so my kids get the correct amount. Since she made too much,
she never got a dime so by her applying, it actually decreased the
money going to her as she is the payee for my little ones. What a
CLUSTER F...
