plead that all doctors , especially ones that do research find out what
the differences in health are for all people who get the kind of pollution
/ greenhouse gases, coal and concentrated car and bus and truck diesel
emissions, oil refinery emissions and industry emissions a big city like our
city (Philly) gets compared with people who get clean(er) only do
I think in almost every conceivable area, that people who are exposed to
this much particulate pollution daily (not good air . but at least
moderate as defined by epa and ) are more prone to diseases of
lungs heart and most every area of the body MORE but they lose their health
faster and have more asthma and respiratory disease. I further urge epa to
find out if our readings our accurate. As you know I claim I can tell
pollution numbers by just being in the room or outside of an area and I am
urging federal and health inspectors to look at particulate pollution and
its affects on people especially as we get fewer and fewer days of clean air
. I am not sure if a moderate particulate rating in my area affects people
the same way as moderate in another area does as the exact chemicals are
different. What I do know is my body shuts down on so called moderate
readings. Our area has more cancers and heart disease and especially asthma
and respiratory disease. I want to know why more isn't being done to show
effects of worse and worse air on cities like mine who get fewer and fewer
good air days yet everyone is slient about it and no policy makers are doing
anything about what I call a urgent and emergency situation that affects
every baby and adult who lives here. The longer the more effects. . I would
like for researchers to show exact correlations between peoples health
correlated to how close they are to areas like mine compared to people who
get clean air. and ate the same relatively healthy things and didn't smoke
or take drugs. I would like to see mortality rates too, although mortality
is not as important as lost health and lost productivity . I would like to
see the average persons productivity and age they retire here compared to
people who get good air.
My assertion is big oil and news consolidation has allowed millions of
people to live in areas where they are being harmed greatly without a gov or
leaders doing anything about it. In another aspect I think some people
actually might know of the damages as we are targeted constantly with more
health care commercials then I have ever seen and here again I would bet my
life its because the health care providers and drug companies know whats
happening here and rather sell meds to people who are poisoned then tell
people why they need them.... The comparisons in health care commercials
might not be able to be done, but if they could my assertions who get more
and why might also show the same correlations of people at risk unfairly
without anyone protecting them... and still not doing enough in most
affected areas to curb it.*pollution
Please realize I think total amount of pollution is not necessarily the only
way to compare rates of pollution. One has to compare the total length of
time people are exposed to moderate or worse particulate pollution like we
get compared to people who get clean air also. My assertion is total amount
can be limited to a few days and may not show cause and affect as much as
people who keep getting less and less of just good quality air.

I am warning people before many people of the dangers going on and I want
to know why more isn't done to protect people. All things are connected and
we don't need to harm ourselves in order to protect old energy policies but
that is what happening . I would compare in addition to our area all cities
with moderate or worse particulate pollution a good majority of the time
immediataly to show possible cause for unusual amounts of harm that it
might and quite possibilty its doing and the only way to do that is compare
health of organs and do stress tests to eveyone living in two different
environments. I think without any doubt in my mine the damages are
disturbing and has caused millions of peoples lost of life and health before
their time. Maybe God forbid this is leaders way to kill off dysfunctional
areas of people in the country. God only knows I only ask for researchers to
study this pollution, health risk based on objective standards and not just
on total amounts of pollution.
